The Touchline on Hiatus

May 30th, 2009 · 2 Comments · soccer

In case you are worried about my friend Luis Bueno, as I was, when he stopped updating his soccer blog, The Touchline … well, don’t be. He told me recently that he has other commitments — paying ones — that keep him from keeping up with The Touchline. Which I have to assume is not particularly a lucrative concept. Done more for love of the game than for money.

I miss his stuff, and I imagine you soccer fans do, too. Luis is very up to date on soccer issues of pertinence in the greater Los Angeles market — Major League Soccer, Mexican League soccer and the U.S. and Mexican national teams. His blog is a very handy resource for conveying a sense of what Mexican media is up to.

Anyway, come back, if you can, Luis. You are missed.

Thanks for the info. I’ve been clicking on his blog a few times a day and wondered what was up. Come on back, Luis

I really enjoy The Touchline and miss the info that Luis provided. However, it is good to know he is finding work that pays the bills.
