I went to Angel Stadium this afternoon to listen to Mike Scioscia, Mike Butcher and two players talk about Nick Adenhart, and to see how the Angels dealt with the issue in the hours leading up to their game with the Boston Red Sox.

I wrote that for a 5:30 p.m. deadline (8:30 in New York). I was able to come back with an update on the pregame ceremonies but I didn’t stay till the end of the game.

I will have some thoughts on the way the club handled all this in my next entry, sometime Saturday.
