Here is the video — highlights — of the U.S.-Slovenia game from South Africa 2010. It is just under five minutes, of what I consider Landon Donovan’s greatest game.

Check the Landon glare during the national anthem, the mail-box goal to reduce the deficit to 2-1, the Landon fury at the thought the U.S. could lose to Slovenia, the Bradley goal.

Just a tremendous performance. I love to revisit it. And I find it really hard to believe that the same man could not produce something like that, even now. Even off the bench.
