After the quake of some 20 minutes ago … traffic is going on the streets, the Metro Blue Line is running. No observable damage out the window. Not much in terms of sirens. No more than usual.

We’re having trouble loading the L.A. Times website (too much traffic?) and phones seem to be down. Or perhaps, overloaded.

I get a fast-busy when I try to call, even locally. Been that way since the quake hit. Perhaps people are overloading the phone system, too … or maybe some lines are down.
